Al-Qirat (2nd lesson) - القراءة الواضحة (الدرس الثاني)

 A good boy

 

 

                 Abu-Nasr always listens to his kind mother. He always does what she says. When his mother says to him: Brush your teeth! He brushes his teeth. When the mother says to Abu-Nasr: go to bed! Abu-Nasr goes to bed. When his mother says to him: take these rupees and get me something to eat,  he takes those rupees and get her something to eat. When the mother of Abu-Nasr says: please get me five application forms! He doesn’t ask her again, how many forms do you want? And why do you want those forms.

 But he does just what she says. Abu-Nasr is a good boy. A good boy listens to his mother. he loves his mother as his mother loves him. She doesn’t need to ask again for anything because his child does everything the first time, she kindly says: Abu-Nasr! You are my best child. Of course, Abu-Nasr is her best child.

 

 Vocabulary      الْمُفْرَدَاتُ

Boy                                           وَلَدٌ                    أَوْلَادٌ 

Good                                   جَيِّدٌ (ة)            جَيِّدُوْنَ (ات) 

Always                                                               دَائِمًا

 To listen                                اِسْتَمَعَ      يَسْتَمِعُ      اِسْتِمَاع

Mother                                              أُمٌّ             أُمَّهَاتٌ  

Kind                                         لَطِيْفٌ (ة)    لِطَافٌ (ات) 

To do                                        فَعَلَ       يَفْعَلُ        فَعْل

What (in the mid-sentence)                                 مَا

To say                                             قَالَ     يَقُوْلُ     قَوْلًا

When (not interrogative particle)            حِيْمَا، عِنْدَمَا

To brush                  نَظَّفَ     يُنَظِّفُ     تَنْظِيْف        الْأَسْنَانَ

To go                          ذَهَبَ      يَذْهَبُ      ذَهَاب            إِلَى

Bed                                             سَرِيْرٌ                 سُرُرٌ

 To take                                        أَخَذَ        يَأْخُذُ        أَخْذ

These                                                          هذه \ هؤلاء 

Rupee                                         رُوْبِيَةٌ              رُوْبِيَاتٌ

To get                           أَحْضَرَ         يُحْضِرُ         إِحْضَار

 Something                                                          شَيْءٌ   

To eat                                                                 لِلْأَكْلِ

Those                                                           تِلْكَ \ أُولئكَ

Please                                                           مِنْ فَضْلِكَ

Five                                                          خَمْسَة \ خَمْس

Application form       اِسْتِمَارَةُ الطَّلَبِ         اِسْتِمَارَاتُ الطَّلَبِ 

To ask                                   سَأَلَ         يَسْأَلُ          سُؤَالًا 

 Again                                                              مَرَّةً ثَانِيَةً

Again                                                مِنْ جَدِيْدٍ \ مَرَّةً أُخْرَى 

How many / How much                                         كَمْ

To want                                 أَرَادَ            يُرِيْدُ       إِرَادَة

Why                                                               لِمَاذَا \ لِمَ

But                                                                        بَلْ

Just                                                                    مُجَرَّد

To love                                أَحَبَّ            يُحِبُّ           حُبّ

As                                                                            كَمَا

Anything                                                            أَيُّ شَيْء

Because                                                                   لِأَنْ

Everything                                                          كُلُّ شَيْء

First time                                                         فِيْ أَوَّلِ مَرَّةٍ

Kindly                                                                    بِشَفَقَةٍ

Best                                                                        أَفَضَلُ

Of course                                                       طَبْعًا \ بِالطَّبْعِ
